Mission Agape is a non-profit organization powered by volunteers and donations with the goal of changing the lives of families in Tri-Cities, Tennessee, and surrounding areas.
Mission Agape launched in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. It was laid on our hearts to support families and children by providing the essential needs of a child, which include diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, clothing, and equipment. The National Diaper Bank recognizes that in the state of Tennessee, one in every three families struggle to purchase diapers monthly. The need for diapers impacts the health and stability of the child as well as the ability for childcare which allows parents to work.
Mission Agape seeks to help fill a gap for families who may be struggling to make ends meet; there are no requirements to receive help, just show up on our community days.
Operated solely by volunteers, hours are spent each month to count, sort, and organize incoming donations. They show up for our community days to plant seeds of love and provide a service to families. Our volunteers are from different organizations, church families, and corporations.
There is a place for you to make an impact. Be sure to check out our events if you'd like to make a difference in the lives of children right here in the Tri-Cities.
We believe as a community we can make a difference in the life of a child, in the life of a family, in the life of our region.
Our mission is to change the life of a child by providing basic essentials to support health and stability.
